About Me

In a nutshell I was the kid in English class excited about sentence diagramming, drafting outlines, and passionately arguing for the Oxford comma. I love exploring a writer’s style and creativity and helping them decide which writing rules to follow and which ones to break for the sake of the story and the reader.

Beyond the projects you see here, I’ve scripted video content, audio content, tried my hand at social media management, and spent a few months as an interim manager of a small coffee shop, I’ve also developed website copy, menus, and branding for cafes and restaurants.

Outside of editing, you can either find me at home in Texas with my husband, son, and two Huskies (yes, there’s fur everywhere always) or in the middle of the mountains getting the Jeep stuck on some big rocks.

Hobbies

I am an avid home cook and a foodie at heart. I read cookbooks for fun, develop recipes, and even had a food blog during the mid-aughts food blog boom. I’m a coffee fiend and faithfully make a French press every morning.
